Everything changed since the diagnosis; little did I know exactly how much pain, soul searching, hospital bills and strength I would have to endure throughout the next 2 years.
From that date till today I have had 5 failed kidney operations, hospital bills which cleaned me out financially and to top it it off, the family business went bankrupt and my parents got a divorce.
So, finding yourself broke, alone and in pain, basically, you only have two options; Deal with it and work your way out of despondency or take the easy way out and become a problem for society. The funny thing in life is that sometimes your lowest lows are often followed by the highest highs. Once you reach rock bottom the only way to go is up.
As time went on when I was an in-patient at the hospital after the operations, I began to realise that the health professionals seemed more interested in the money rather than my well-being as I noted the progressing lack of interest once I was off the operating table. So after being unable to get successful treatment from the hospital, although my case was extremely rare (1 in 100 000 people have pelvic kidneys) , it became apparent to me that I wasn’t going to find my answers there.
My search then ultimately lead me to natural healing.
It wasn’t long before I saw the benefits of living a simplistic lifestyle. I also soon gave up meat and committed to a 100% vegan diet. Herbal teas became part of my everyday routine and in a few short months the 11mm stone reduced to a miraculous 6.4mm as stated by the scan attatched.
After such amazing results, I was completely sold. The healthy, completely natural way was going to be the best way forward for me, the only way.
I then felt this strong proclivity to want to share my new found discoveries with the world.
I had in my social circle a few natural medicine students and lecturers and for the next 3 years I decided to devote my life to helping others, studying new techniques and natural treatment methods and healing those who doctors had given up on.
I find myself today 6 years later having accomplished so much that this platform is not large enough. All the glory is given to God for the blessings he has placed on our products. Our next goal as Heal the Hood is to be internationally recognized for the sustainable projects we work to put into place and we aim to make the world a better, healtheir place, One happy client at a time.
We all want to make a difference. We all can make a difference. We all bleed the same blood.
